At the Cox Elementary World Cup of Summer, Liam Gibbs discovered the power of teamwork, creativity, and confidence through hands-on experiences. Throughout the program, Liam explored new ideas like value assessment and learned how businesses make decisions about what is important and worth investing in. Through activities, interviews, and group discussions, he found new ways to express his ideas and connect with others.
Over the course of the program, Liam took pride in working alongside his team to develop and sell their donut business. With the support of teachers, staff, and the Infinnovate team, he strengthened his collaboration skills and became more confident in sharing his thoughts with others. Liam’s journey shows how meaningful experiences and teamwork can help students discover their own potential as young leaders and innovators.

INFINNOVATE: What was your favorite World Cup of Summer experience?
LIAM GIBBS: It was week two because that was the week when they had fun stuff when we did fun stuff.
INFINNOVATE: What was the fun stuff?
LIAM GIBBS: It was having interviews with the whole group and answering questions with the teachers.
INFINNOVATE: What is the one thing you learned that you did not know before?
LIAM GIBBS: It was value assessment, which is valuing things that you should have and keep together.
INFINNOVATE: What are you most proud of in the past few weeks?
LIAM GIBBS: It was having teamwork with our whole team working together.
INFINNOVATE: And what project was it?
LIAM GIBBS: The project was having, selling, or trying to sell donuts to a customer.
INFINNOVATE: How did the program help you become more confident?
LIAM GIBBS: It helped me become more confident in teamwork and sharing those things with other people.
